Amicalement !

I absolutely loved my stay at Casa Dolce Sogno and dream of a return very soon! Mario was very helpful getting us to the place to meet the local hosts and providing us with information on the area and recommendations during our stay - always responsive and very kind! The local hosts, Anna and Michele, were so lovely from arrival to departure! On arrival, the kitchen was filled with items for our use including pasta, sauce, bottled water, limoncello :), etc. Waking up the first morning, we found they left us a local cake for breakfast, it was delicious!! One evening upon our return, they invited us in for a shot of limoncello and invited us back the following evening for some of their local family wine. When we returned the following evening, Anna had prepared some amazing eggplant parmigiana, olives, cheeses, meats and Michele poured us some of his local family produced red wine...all amazing!! And to top it off, Anna served chocolate fondant cakes for dessert, one of the best I have ever had. Although none of us spoke the others language very well - food, wine and google translate helps with the rest :) and we had a lovely dinner and very much appreciated their hospitality! The accommodation and views were spectacular!! The flat is very comfortable, clean, cosy and modern. It helped having the washer for longer stays. And the French press for coffee was great. The master bedroom was beautiful! It's the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or for a family holiday. Sitting at the table inside with large windows or outside on the terrace...and looking out to the vineyards and sea was breathtaking! For those who are looking to hike the Path of Gods, this is a great location. You can walk a leisurely 20 minutes to the start of the path at Bomerano and take the path to Nocelle and further on to Positano if you like. I have a bit of fear of heights, more so cliffs/drop offs and we took the high path and it was absolutely lovely! We missed the steps down to Positano and walked the road part way. Still all of it was amazing. From Positano we took a ferry to Amalfi to have a view of the coast and check out the town. From Amalfi we took the local bus back to Furore, with the bus passes the hosts left for us :). Many Thanks to Mario for getting us booked and arranged for the stay! Many Thanks to Anna and Michele for their generous hospitality, as well to their son Vincenzo who carried our heavy suitcases down and back up the many flights of stairs, all were so helpful and kind! Amazing experience in a quiet village with beautiful accommodations and lovely people :)
