Mario's home is a wonderful country paradise, full of flowers and birds, lovely views. We loved the terrace and spent most of our time there. The outdoor wood-fired oven was great too! Mario was available and responsive, and though we didn't get to meet him this time, we enjoyed meeting his friend Anton who made us very welcome and shared a bottle of his delicious homemade wine with us.

If you want an authentic Amalfi coast experience and escape the tourist traps, you have to come here. It is in a very convenient location, SITA bus stop right outside the house and a 15 minute walk to the square where the Path of the Gods begins (the best activity we did in Italy, extremely recommended) as well as local groceries for Italian products and stores for fresh bread and pasta. Mario was very easy to communicate with to arrange travel plans. Anna picked us up from the bus stop on arrival. The house is even more beautiful than we imagined, impeccably decorated, pristine, and very romantic with a nice big bed. Kitchen is well stocked with coffee, pasta, and condiments for you to use and new appliances to cook. The terrace outside is a priceless place to eat breakfast (of which they provided some treats for us!) Michele and Anna (they live upstairs) welcomed us one night with homemade limoncello and we were able to have great conversation using google translator, as well as fun learning some Italian. We were welcomed like family and we had hands down the best meal of our trip in Europe with them. They are such generous, genuine, and kind people and making friends with them made our trip truly memorable. They took every measure and worked very hard to make our stay wonderful. While Amalfi and Positano are beautiful, we couldn’t recommend more separating yourself and staying in this tranquil and convenient home on the coast. It is very easy to get to and from anywhere from this central location. Overall, this was a highlight of our trip in Europe and it was very sad to leave our new friends Michele and Anna. You are truly missing out if you stay anywhere else! We will return as soon as possible!!! We miss you Michele and Anna! Thank you for everything you did for us. We are telling everyone we know about your lovely home and we will do our best to tell everyone about your wonderful home in Furore. Best wishes, Masako and Oded
