Both Furore and Anna & Michele's home are BEAUTIFUL. Both they and Mario, who assists them with bookings/logistics, were incredibly communicative and friendly throughout our stay. My friend's birthday occurred over our stay, and Anna made her a special surprise birthday breakfast. Anna and Michele also invited us to eat lunch with them, and it was wonderful sharing some home-cooked food and getting to know them on their gorgeous terrace. I can't emphasize enough how kind they are, and how stunning the views from their home are. And aside from one hot water mishap, the house is very clean and livable. The little town of Furore is also super sleepy and charming. The only (fairly significant) caveat is that it's challenging to get to other towns on the Amalfi Coast (e.g. Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, Salerno, Ravello) from this location without a car. We thought we would be able to manage fine just taking the SITA buses, but it turned out that the unreliability of these buses seriously limited our mobility. Anna and Michele's home is a 2-minute walk from a bus stop, which is awesome, but we had the frustrating experience of buses passing us by because they were already full from previous stops. The buses also didn't come even close the scheduled times, because, well, it's Italy! With only a handful of buses running on their route each day (with as many as 4 hours in between buses), we literally ended up resorting to hitchhiking to get around. This, of course, is NO fault of the hosts, but it's an important factor to weigh if you're considering staying here. If you're planning to (a) have a car or (b) have a 'staycation' type of experience, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. If you're hoping to hop around to different towns on the coast and won't be bringing a car, I'd think hard about the tradeoffs.

A super property in the heart of Trastevere; stunning view from the terrace and a night time skyline which leaves you breathless! Walking distance to "everything" including an excellent public transport system. Well equipped kitchen. We had a great stay in your apartment; you have a beautiful home in a super setting. Thanks for being so available for help:) As a suggestion for improvement; a bottle of water, a bottle of wine and a little bread and butter/cheese - small details which are always appreciated when arriving late:) Hanne & Sten
